For the spreadsheet, which I have created for Merryweather hardware and software requirements, for the system is a mouse, keyboard, CPU (200 MHz), this would be needed to run the CD rewriter so data can be backed up on CD. The software requirements are Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Excel preferably 97 Edition. I have used formulas such as • Sum: Add basic calculations • IF Statements: Performs an action if the value is correct. It will also give another action if the value is invalid. • Vlookup Statements: (Vertical) lookup statements look up a value within a named table and it will give a value to what it is in that column with the specified row within the spreadsheet. • Countif Statements: Counts the number of cells within a range that meet the given criteria. IF Statement If there is a statement within a statement (nested statement) and the value is False, this means the statement will refer to the statement within the outside statement. The logical_test box is refers to a cell with a certain value in it. The value_if_true box displays the outcome if the cell does not have the matching value. The value_if_true box is used to display the outcome if the cell does have the matching value Vlookup Statement The IF statements shall be useful for converting spin buttons in values in names The IF statements shall be: - • Resort • Board Costs • Star Rating Relating to cost Vlookup entries are used with or instead the IF Statements. They are very helpful in terms of referring to a value within the table and what it relates to. Vlookup shall be used in • Months where they will correspond to the season value • Flight Total where it gives the user the overall flight information value. The col_index_num box is used with the column number in table_array from which the matching value must be returned.
