Reaction to Owen
Many emotions came over me as I read through the passage about Owen. ... Many details contributed to these feelings and maybe I felt them because it is human nature or maybe it is because one day I hope to help children just like Owen.
From the beginning of the story to the end I honestly felt as if Owen simply needed attention. I do not doubt the fact that he had something wrong with him, but it seemed like as he went through all the different schools, the ones that seemed to reach to Owen were the ones with smaller amounts of children. ... I am sure it would be hard for Owen to get much attention at home since he had 5 siblings.
