Second World War by John Keegan
John Keegan’s literature is debated around the world; many people find his work to be inaccurate others find it to be offensively graphic. On the other hand many people find John Keegan’s work to be insanely accurate and detailed. The one thing that remains is unyielding belief that Keegan is an excellent writer. When you speak of John Keegan’s work you can’t help but to put him in the same class as Churchill and Ambrose. The book that I read is The Second World War by John Keegan. What I am trying to attempt in this paper is to summarize the book that summarized, as Keegan put it “The greatest conflict ever. ... First and foremost I think that I really need to express how much I love John Keegan’s writing style. ... Another thing that Keegan did that really helped to understand the war was he summarized all the events leading up to the second world war; as far as the economic depression in the united states and Germany’s war on well everyone else as well as the Japanese rampant destruction of everything they touched. ... One of the main things that Keegan delves into very deeply is all the unfinished business that many of these countries had left on the table after World War I.
