1. Introduction 1.1 Purpose The purpose to this Software Design Document(SDD) is to provide a high level design for the Operational Risk Management System through which the Design team can have more insight into the system with respect to the modules and the interfaces involved in the development of the system. The SDD comprises the decomposition description of the system whereby the system is divided into modules into which system can be broken down. It also talks about the inter-modular and inter-process dependencies to take care of by the design team with the help of class diagrams. It discusses in detail the complete design of the system by using class diagrams, flow charts and natural language. This document is intended for Design Team. Coding team can also refer to this document. 1.2 Scope Operational Risk Management System is a tool for measuring the Operational Risk of a bank or of a risk category. It gives an idea to bank that how much capital charge is required to meet the operational risk. The product also allows the bank to maintain a loss database where all the loss related information is logged in.
