Throughout the last year or so, a song by the name of “Wanksta” has been sweeping the radio stations. ... A wanksta is defined as “a gangster who does not progress. ... ” (50 Cent) The three main traits that a wanksta exhibits are putting up a front, lack of funds, and frequently getting in trouble with the law.
First, a wanksta is clearly recognizable by the front that they put up. ... When wankstas front, they think that they are fooling everybody else, but underneath the wanksta knows, and most other people know, that they are not a real gangster.
Second, a wanksta is continuously lacking sufficient funds to better themselves in life.
