Lucretia was a noble, virtuous and chaste women. She was a hard worker, this is evident because unlike the other wives of the princes who were in the dinner party Lucretia was working at home. Lucretia would choose death over closing chastity. But then one might think why did she give in to Sexus's demands on the notion that he will lay her by the side of a servant, dead. Shall we assume that Lucretia was trying to keep her position as a chaste women so as to keep her husbands pride? Is it not more important to remain chaste without caring what the world thinks?
