... When director Rob Cohen had The Fast and the Furious in mind, he knew exactly what type of audience it would bring in – motor heads and people looking for non-stop action. Viewers can expect a fast pace and a thrilling demeanor. Even though the plot isn’t the strongest part of the movie, it’s sure up there with other action films. The men are bold and ambitious; the women are beautiful and tough, while the supercharged cars and intense race scenes are like the title, fast and furious. If viewers aren’t interested in anything more than roaring car engines, custom detailed paint jobs, and screeching tires, The Fast and the Furious might not be you’re movie of choice.

Although the plot of The Fast and the Furious is to some extent flimsy and tedious, the action scenes are so exhilarating that they make up for the movies mindless plot.
