College can drain a student’s wallet. ... Freshmen students should not purchase parking permits because it is a waste of money, it can be a struggle finding a parking spot on campus, and there are alternatives to parking on campus.
Purchasing parking permits is a waste of money. The price of parking permits, at Cal State Fullerton, has sky rocketed from $99 per semester to a ridiculous $144. College students are required to pay tuition fees and purchase high priced books which are essential for their college careers; but parking permits are not crucial for success.
