Domestic violence is a problem that has always existed, but people didn’t really talk about it. ... In these past decades the awareness of the huge problem that is domestic violence has had an increase in our society. But even though the information of domestic violence has increases the problem still exists. Domestic violence is a huge crisis here in the United States that can affect lots of women. In this policy research I’m going to focus on females who are being victims of domestic violence.
Domestic violence is a problem that can happen to anyone it doesn’t matter the gender, ethnicity, class status, or age of that person. The population I’m going to focus is low-income females, which I believe is the group who experiences the most domestic violence. ...
Domestic violence has always existed, but people didn’t used to talk about it because it was consider right for men to beat their wives. ... Like it was okay in the old times to beat their wives most women have always suffer abuse which it was not consider domestic violence at the time, so the cycle of domestic violence on low income people has always existed.
