From the early nineteen hundreds until present day, cinema has been an important component of entertainment within a wide range of societies. When analysed in more depth, the uses of cinema can be almost limitless, and correspond with changes in time and culture among different regions of the world. By assessing these uses within the correct context, it is possible to determine what cinema is used for in the modern world, as well as how it transgressed to this point from its origin.
In order to examine today’s uses for cinema, it is important to remember that while cinema has many similar aspects from region to region, there are still quite a few differences. For this reason, it is best to review cinema within the confines of a familiar area, since even the slightest variation among culture can provide a number of new uses. I have lived in Austin, Texas for the entirety of my life, and have had a chance to consciously monitor cinema in this arena for around fifteen years. The uses for cinema within Austin are likely to resemble those within the United States, but there are still many colloquial uses which do not apply nation-wide. ...
