In the past four months here, I have observed how the company needs more information data input, data output, storage devices, and determining the speed of a computer. Therefore I am going to give the company a few methods that I think would be best for each situation. Data input devices are hardware components that allow end -user to communicates to the computer. Accuracy of date input is important and that is why I am send this paper to every employee in this company. The first situation is about printed questionnaires and the best method for input would be to use the mouse to click the answer on the questionnaires that was original typed in the computer. A mouse is a pointing device with a ball on the bottom and one or more buttons on top. If we did a telephone survey we would use the keyboard to types the response therefore we did the survey and we have the response in our computer. Keyboards are used for input because most input data consists of letters and numbers. Bank checks would be input by using magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) characters are the special characters printed at the bottom of checks. These characters indicate the bank, the check number, and the customer’s account number.
