Abstract
To set the stage, I will explore and define what culture is? Then, I will relate and discuss the culture values to the organizational, and personal. Finally, I will show how culture value affects decision-making in my personal and professional lives.
Understanding Culture Values
First, we need to define what culture is? Granted, culture exists in every society. Culture is defined as the social forms, customary beliefs, values, goals, and it is shared by a group of people. Culture is often-based on long standing traditions that have been passed from generation to generations, and from the elders to the younger. Culture is part of who they are and is where and to whom they belong.
The concept of culture is in itself a social concept. Therefore, it follows that the concept of organizational culture should be viewed as the social context of an organization. ... Culture is one of those terms thats difficult to express distinctly, but everyone knows it when they sense it” (p. ...
