Death Penalty Is it just punishment or not
“An Eye For An Eye” Is Not Just Punishment In such a day and age as we live in, there is much controversy, especially regarding the death penalty in hopes of population control. Yet, we are only human and life is a gift that cannot be given twice, furthermore how are we to instill fear of death as a consequence upon a society that is already afraid of nothing? ... Though, as it is, a killer will not stop to think twice about his/her actions because of what happened to someone else how also committed murder. ... Some were born into rich prosperous communities, others into neighborhoods not as fortunate. ... Some people make decisions and act upon emotional will that do not have the best outcomes, who’s end is the end of another’s life. Yet, we has fellow human beings do not have the sovereign power to decide that this killer does not have the right to finish their life they way it was meant to end.
