Drug Enhancing Performance’s
One of the most talked about topics during this past Summers Olympic games, was the usage of performance enhancing drugs, such as tetrahydrogestrinone (THG) and the blood-boosting hormone erythropopoitein (EPO), by contending athletes. It almost seemed as if every enjoyable moment each winning athlete had was offset by headlines that they were either being investigated for drug use or were being stripped of their medal for testing positive for some kind of performance enhancing drug. ... I don’t feel one bit of sorrow for any athlete that has lost a medal due to testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. ...
