My Nightmare Recently I took a trip down to Green Bay with my wife and mother-in-law to visit our son and his family because it was our grandson’s birthday. The morning we left was sunny and nice, and there was only a prediction of one to two inches of snow for that evening. The trip down to Green Bay was without incident. When we got there we dropped my mother-in-law off to visit while the wife and I went into Green Bay to shop. On our way back from Green Bay shopping it had started to snow and by the time we got back to our son’s apartment it was already snowing moderately. So when we got back we told them we could not stay real late since it was already 1:30 in the afternoon. There fore they started the grandson’s birthday party a little sooner and we left about 5:30 in the afternoon. The snow had let up a little so the drive through Wisconsin and into Michigan was not bad. The roads were a little slippery, but did not have much snow on them. But as soon as we got about 5 to 10 miles north of Menomonee, Michigan it started to get worse. The further we drove north the worse it got.
