Secret, Silent Screams.

Author: Joan Lowery Nixon. Was it suicide------or homicide? Marti Lewis, a tall, blonde girl in her teens, entered the Farrington Park police station. The only one there was a young lady with short, red curly hair. Marti then found out that the lady was a policeman. Her name was Karen Prescott., Officer Karen Prescott. Before getting to the point of why she came here, Marti started asking questions asking her for her age and how long has she been a police officer. Then she changed her tone and told her that she was here to report a murder. Marti started telling her story. The thing is that her friend was Barry Logan. It was his funeral today. Everyone was saying that he committed suicide. But Marti knew that he would never commit suicide. Marti had known Barry from 6th grade right through to seniors. They lived next to each other which made them really close. Barry and Marti shared secrets, Barry had never kept anything from her, or is that just what Marti thought?
