The Americans desired it’s to have populism and Elitism. And I think I know why average American wants those two things. It is because they have been influence by the media and advertising on television and because they jealous of the rich people and because this is America and they feel that if everyone is equal why is that some people lives a better than other people. So I thing there a possibility to have this dream come true because is not an impractical one. In the “Parable of Democracy of Goods” they talk about how people when they in the market everyone is equal. For example, when they talked about “Democracy of Affliction” the use of advertising that rich people do it and you should do it too. In today advertising they don’t use rich people for advertising anymore but they use superstars, athletes, or famous people to do advertising and they still try to convince you buy the product because your superstars and athletes using it.
