Today teenagers are more familiar with sex, have more sex partners, and are engaging more in unprotected sex than any other generation. There are many reasons why so many teens are becoming pregnant. Teens are very easily influenced especially when it comes to sex. . Some of these reasons include, not being educated about the birth-control methods . Teen pregnancy is a complex problem with many causes Many factors contribute to pregnancy among teens, including insufficient family involvement and a lack of access to contraceptive services. Family involvement plays a big role in a child’s life. Teens that have a strong connection with their parents are more likely not to have sex The ages of these teens are so young that they have not fully grown into woman. They are forced to grow up, and take responsibility for themselves and their child.
