Preston Tucker was a man that was a great visionary way ahead of his time who had dreams of an automobile with innovative safety features and new technology. Unfortunately, Tucker faced strong opposition from the “Big Three” and the government. Nevertheless, Tucker fought for his dream car and in the end, fifty rolled out of his factory in Chicago and onto the road. Tucker’s inventions impacted and revolutionized the automobile industry, especially in regards to product safety. Preston Tucker was a man that continually was inventing and improving things. ... During his prosecution Tucker was also working on a kerosene-powered refrigerator that could hold just one bottle of milk. Preston Tucker knew, through effective marketing research, that upon returning home from war almost eighty percent of people would buy a new car. Finding a niche in the car market, Tucker decided to make a car unlike anything the Big Three was producing at the time, a car that could go faster than his army vehicle and had many new safety features.
