investigation of photsynthesis in a water plant
Investigation to show Photosynthesis in the Water Plant I am going to be recording and explaining my results to the experiment of the number of bubbles that come from the pondweed every minute, and then I will be moving the pondweed further away from the lamp. ... Prediction: My predictions that I think that there will be more number of bubbles the nearer the pondweed gets to the lamp , I thought this because there will be more light energy to join the Carbon Dioxide + Water together so more waste oxygen will be produced, more sugar formed , that is more photosynthesis. Photosynthesis can be summed up in this equation: Method: Firstly you need the apparatus consisting of: o Small test tube o Canadian Pondweed o Water o Syringe o Desk Lamp o Ruler (to measure distance from lamp) o Pencil o Scissors or Knife o Thermometer o Watch or Stopwatch o Paperclip Fill a small test tube with water, or the substance provider measure 25cm2 by using your syringe, and then place a 10cm piece of Canadian Pondweed inside it with a paperclip on the end so that the Pondweed will not rise to the top.
