The prevalence of cigarette smoking among teenagers has long been a concern of society; we can hardly ignore the problem due to the profound impacts it brings on our future pillars. However, what actually causes the teens to smoke even when this is obviously harming their health?What makes them addicted? ---Only after we find out the root causes of the problem could we solve it. What makes cigarette smoking a big problem is its devastating impacts. Smoking not only leads to diseases such as lung cancer and heart attack but was also regarded the precursor to the use of illegal drugs .The World Health Organization even regards smoking as the leading killer in developed countries. The bad news is that despite these terrific impacts, number of teenagers who smoke shows a striking figure. A survey conducted by the Victorian Cancer Council in1987 shows that over 200000 secondary students in the state have been smoking.
