Trying to survive on your own on an uncertain island can be your worst nightmare. Also since you are trying hard to survive, you sometimes tend to forget about the things that are actually more substantial than shelter, fire or even food. From Lord of the Flies written by William Golding, the teenage boys who are trying to carry the burden of surviving on an abandoned island gets into surviving so much that they lose their conscious, intentions and morals over power. Even though everyone craves power because it sometimes is delightful to control others and make him or her do things you desire, however power also has the tendency to corrupt a person.
