The Creative work I present to you today is a song titled Parabola written by a compassionate alternative band called Tool. The reason I chose this particular piece is because I am very fond of the band as well as it seems to have a lot of depth to it almost spiritual. In this song I interpret the way I see myself in the world, as well as portraying the gift of life throughout humankind. Based on my schema, this aids me with my understanding and assists the meaning I get out of analyzing this song. In the beginning of the Parabola he makes a statement stating that we don’t honestly know what has happened before us and when it will ever end. We don’t have anything but stories to help us along with the inevitable truth of time. Also I believe what he is saying describes that we all choose to live and choose to keep the world going by being a part of society.
