As a teenager in today's society, I find that one of the most important aspects of enjoying my teenage years is to fit in. Acceptance is crucial to most teenagers confidence level . . . the most confident are those who are most accepted. Unfortunatley, being accepted involves having one or more important characteristics: athleticism, sense of humor, and unfortunately, money. As I grow older, I realize the basis to a well-rounded person does not include any of these, and in many cases, I find myself respecting those who do not possess these characteristics. The Little Rock Nine were nine African American students that were called to integrate Central High in 1957.
