Physical fitness can reduce risk of heart disease and stroke by increasing the HDL (good cholesterol) to LDL (bad cholesterol) ratio, which protects against cholesterol damage. It lowers your high blood pressure, reduces risk of cancer , controls diabetes, controls weight, and the list goes on and on. There are two types of exercise: 1)Aerobic , which means with oxygen, also know as cardiovascular or endurance exercises and 2)Anaerobic, meaning without oxygen, usually sports or exercises requiring short bursts of intense energy. Aerobic exercise has its benefits, which range from muscular endurance to increase in lean muscle to fat ratio.
