Relationships There are many different types of relationships in Midsummer Night’s Dream. The two that are being described the most are Bottom to Quince and Oberon to Puck. Their relationship is much like a boss to an employee; one of them has more power than the other. Their relationship could also be like a parent to a child and a teacher to a student. The relationships that they share are dangerous to many different types of people. They also have many similarities and differences between the two sets of characters in the story Midsummer Night’s Dream. Oberon is the powerful king of the Fairies and Puck is a servant to Oberon. Oberon plays his part well because he tells Puck to do everything for him, “Crush this herb on Lysander’s eye,”(3.2.387). Robin plays his role okay because he does everything that Oberon wants but sometimes he messes things up. Oberon does not use his power wisely.
