The health of the aging population is a great concern to everyone. Careful
consideration must be taken to promote the effectiveness of Australia’s public health

number one health issue within the next two to three decades”.

2004) Alzheimer’s disease is a physical disorder that shows no discrimination to race,
gender or origin. ... This style of
lifestyle choice promotion is recognized through the Ottawa Charter for Health
Promotion as stated by Wass (2000) “…health promotion is not just the responsibility
of the health sector, but goes beyond healthy lifestyle to well being”.
