Unexpected incidents can occur without notice. Not everyone has been victimized; in return not everyone can sympathize and/or understand the effects of violent crimes. There are two views: the insiders and the outsiders. The insiders are of course the ones that the violent crime occur to, or can also be a person that has been a victim of the same or similar violent crime. The outsiders are those that hear or read about the events that transpire. The insiders are by far more in depth and supportive of the victims. They understand not only the physical recovery but also the emotional recovery. These people share a common ground and can be very supportive.
