Reflection # 2 In the article “Nobody wants Toronto’s trash” talks about an issue concerning Toronto’s trash. None of the municipalities want the waste. It has been judged that in an emergency situation the municipal government would look at private sector landfill first. This is an issue we all as public should look and try to come up with some kind of solution. The municipal government has decided to co-operate and is ready to meet any strict restrictions with Michigan. Halton’s landfill takes about 100,000 tones per year whereas; Toronto generates about 1 million tones per year. In my opinion Toronto should certainly start taking some wise steps about the trash. As if the problem is out of control the government will look at private-sector first such as Dundas, Napanee, Chatham. This will certainly pollute the surrounding areas with polluted smell.
