Hamlet Essay
Is Hamlet a tragic hero? ...

In Shakespeare’s tragedy, Hamlet, the main character is the major cause of the many tragic events that occur. That character is Hamlet who begins to believe that his uncle, Claudius, murdered his father. ... Hamlet acting this way led to him actually becoming insane, led to the death of his mother and fiancée, and to Laertes’ and Claudius’ plot to kill him. Hamlet’s insanity act was his tragic flaw because it led to his own death and the death of those closest to him.
