Tama drums were made in boston MA, around 1956. They have become a great brand of drums since them and have a wide variety of players such as Mike Portnoy, Steward Copeland, and Alan White to name a few. There new release with the exotix sets made them even a higher standard for drummers. They also have just recently intorucede there Iron Cobra single and double bass pedals, featuring the new dual-action kickback performance found in the Iron Cobra Twin-Glide pedals. They have very good perfomance hardware that is used by most drummers around the globe. There high quality makes thier hardware a must for any drummer adding new toms or a new boom stand.
