Museums hold the key to understanding a countrys culture and history. They range from botanic to history museums, but they all have this one thing in common: they preserve, in a way or another, part of a countrys past. I think that people visit museums for the following reasons.
Firstly, a foreign country probably has a different culture than ones home country. People that choose to visit certain countries do so because they feel the need to experience something new. For example, people choose to visit France because it is renowned for its wines and great works of art. ... After all, that is why he came there in the first place. People are also drawn to certain countries that are cultural centres. ...
Secondly, museums serve as a bridge between the tourist and the country he or she visits because they preserve part of a countrys history.
