NEW DELHI: The Indian government said on Wednesday that the three Indian drivers held hostage in Iraq have been released. The drivers, Antaryami, Sukhdev and Tilakraj, taken hostage 42 days ago on July 21 by the Iraqi militant group 'Holders of the Black Banners' were released and taken to the Indian embassy in Baghdad. The release, ironically, comes only a day after 12 Nepalese hostages were murdered by another terrorist group in Iraq. Amid much relief, Minister for External Affairs Natwar Singh and his deputy E Ahamad announced here that the hostages had been released without the Indian government having to compromise on any matter of principleSteve Harmison had three for 41 in the NatWest opener on 1 st September, 2004 and followed James Anderson, who achieved the feat against Pakistan at The Oval last year, as the only Englishman to take a one-day international hat-trick. Harmison was the third bowler to get his hat-trick against India.
