Facing challenges is what life is all about. Composes do represent different types of challenges in a variety of texts. The challenges represented in the novel Johnny Heart’s Heroes, the documentary “Risk: Laughing in the face of life” and the article “Nightmare on the roof of Australia” are emotional, physical and psychological challenges. The composers of these texts use different types of written & visual languages to show the challenges.
There were many different emotional challenges in Johnny Heart’s Heroes, but I feel that these are the most significant for the story and the development of each character. ... The inconvenience of the whole ordeal is a large factor of challenges, for example not being able to take a shower.
In this novel psychological challenges play a large role in that they are necessary for the development of the novel it self and the characters. ... Their challenges are to not get frustrated and enraged but to keep calm, to not let anger get the better of them and to not let Johnny down. ...
