Speech on the War against Iraq
In September 7, 2003, President George W. Bush addressed the nation of the situation in Iraq. Although many objected his proposition for the success in Iraq, many believed in his words of patriotism and achievement. ... As a spokesperson for the ongoing war against terrorism and its success in accelerating new order, Bush was aware of the audience’s political, economic and moral affiliation.
Bush’s familiarity with the war, his credibility and persona supports his use of ethos. As President of the United States, it is with his judgement along with the Congress and several advisers, that he chose to declare war on terrorism.
