Smokers have rights too, and they should be able to smoke in all public places. A public place is a place where the public which includes people who smoke can be allowed to stay. Therefore it would be illogical to not allow smokers to be able to smoke in a public space. There are numerous reasons which support this issue such as that smoking is legal, the consequences to smokers which may occur and that not all smokers are the same. ... The government has been known to rely on the revenue received from smokers. The high taxation placed on cigarettes has been placed as way to discourage smokers but also act as a high form of revenue for the government.
