Zora Neale Hurstons Sweat
As a modern author, Zora Neale Hurston included many of her experiences and ideas about life into her writing; a prime example is the similarities displayed between Hurston and the main character Delia in her short story, “Sweat”. In Hurston’s short story “Sweat”, many of her beliefs and those of other African Americans came into play. ... In “Sweat” the first example of how Hurston’s ideas differ on the subject of working under whites compared to many African American’s opinions of it was given on the first page. ...
