The Play ‘Waiting for Godot” is certainly theatrical and as besides its shocking qualities that caused it so much criticism, one cannot help finding yourself shredded with laughter. ...

The third theme would of course be that of Waiting, which just symbolizes our trivial everyday existence as humans waiting for something to complete us and of course hoping that that something does in fact exist. ... ‘Waiting for Godot’ could be interpreted in political, religious or even sinister ways but none the less its aims were to rock the cot and unsettle the audience just as everyday inconsistency’s and fears would.
