ALL OF ME is a teenage fiction by Maureen Stuart. The novel is about a 14 year old girl called Rebecca Massoni who battles her way through an eating disorder called Anorexia. Her life becomes an elaborate lie which involves starving, hiding food, taking laxatives, vomiting and obsessive behaviours. Rebecca’s parents are always busy with her baby sister Hannah .So her parents don’t realise this obsession to be thin until later on in the novel. Rebecca tries to reach her goal weight throughout the novel which is 35 kg but we find that this is not an easy task. Rebecca wishes she had a body figure of a model so she is determined to lose weight and to stay in control. She has a very difficult time dealing with her friends and family . In this novel Rebecca’s best friend is a character you are drawn to dislike, which I personally think is wrong for this story since Rebecca needs all the support she can get.
