Many events happened during the time of 1763 to 1787 to cause the American Revolution and the signing of the constitution. Even though it was said that the colonies had good advantages, the American Revolution still happened for a reason. The reason this revolution happened was because the affluent people wanted to get rid of the British and construct a government that contained there own interest and social positions in the economy. ... The American colonists quickly unite in opposition, led by the many influential lawyers, publishers, land owners, and merchants who were negatively affected by the Act. ... With all this aggravation on the people this was one of the many reasons that caused the American Revolution.
Another reason that caused the revolution was status anxiety. ...
Also, another reason was because they resented the British redcoats. ...
The American Revolution began in April of 1775 which the colonies were demanding independence from Britain and faced with how to structure a new nation that they were trying to proclaim. ... The Constitution was wrote by the wealthy men who basically got what they wanted from the American Revolution which was to be freed from the British and gain the status that they would be well respected by the people. ... ”
Overall, the basis for the American Revolution which it was a conservative one, was mainly for the well-to-do people of the colonies.
