The highly esteemed guest of honor and speaker, the schools division superintendent, our dear principal, dear parents, members of the faculty and facilitative staff, fellow graduates, other guests, friends, ladies and gentlemen…. I am moved beyond vocabularies to clearly define the real substance of this undertaking. Of mixed sentiments coupled by a grandeur of contentment is how I picture the event. In this regard, I strongly believe that the crown for the extremely difficult undertaking is not solely ours. It is of corporate status where many hands, minds and hearts have collaborated and intertwined to come up with a good framework. This is the reason why I deem our graduation as a great enterprise – of our parents, our teachers, our benefactors, and we. This is also the reason why I believe that our graduation is just a ceremonial confirmation, another bulk of challenges are poised upon us. In other words, mush is expected of us, and we must not falter to the expectation. That it could have been better for us to just sit and be passive if we have not entered school; that we should have remained unchallenged if we have not entered school; that our parents should not be expecting much from us if we have not entered school; that our community and the nation should not be waiting for our share in nation-building if we have not entered school.
