Juvenile Diabetes An Autoimmune Disease

Juvenile Diabetes: An Autoimmune Disease

When my daughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, I had to find the true origin of this life-changing disease as well as gain a deep education of diabetes management. Fear, as well as a sense of parental accountability, drove me to research the truth behind societal perceptions and actual medical findings associated with this dreaded disease. My fear was driven by an ignorance associated with societal teaching that contracting diabetes was directly associated with diet and lifestyle habits. My feelings of parental responsibility and subsequent need to be assigned accountability dictated that I find the true reason for this disease. I chose the topic of juvenile diabetes and the myriad of misconceptions associated with both the origin of the disease and proper treatment routines because I have experienced first hand what it is like to have a child diagnosed with this disease. There is a societal stigma that says “she got diabetes because she eats too much and doesn’t exercise.” This outdated and ignorant view is damaging because it falsely places blame on the person and not the disease. Contrary to the analogy that smoking leads to lung cancer (a true and proven medical fact), there is zero correlation between contracting of juvenile diabetes and poor eating habits.

The purpose of this detailed review is to dispel myths associated with how diabetes is contracted and provide an education on how a normal, productive, and healthy lifestyle can still be enjoyed, in spite of dealing with diabetes.
Aware of the extremely high risk of loss of limbs, sight, or organs associated with diabetes, we immediately understood the need for extensive education in diabetes management and symptom prevention. Although prevention was now not an option, understanding the possible circumstances whereby diabetes could be triggered would help us educate others also. 17 million people in the United States have diabetes. ... from other countries, related to triggering of diabetes, leads to one very pronounced conclusion: Vaccination protocols. ... Many articles from mainstream society indicated diabetes could be prevented through a lifestyle including a healthy diet and regular exercise. The most recent medical community findings indicate, without doubt, that contracting of diabetes is not related to diet or lifestyle but through a viral episode, e. ... , an autoimmune disease. The autoimmune correlation has been linked by many vaccine functions, most prominently the meningitis vaccine using the Hempholus vaccine (Mercola 1). Guidelines for the testing of vaccines for risk factors associated with diabetes have been challenged as both inadequate and dangerous.
