The War Within I believe that for most of our history up until now, war and traces of war-like aspects in today’s societies have been the foregrounds of the shaping of our lives bringing both the best and worst in each individual, family, or society. Springing from such has help bring about realities that are there, realities we neglect to see in non-trying times and yet prevalent in the hearts of each one, realities that are often mistaken for and only brought about by such conflict conditions may it be in a society, country, our within ourselves. The generic term of war in the past or up until today reflects these sorts of truths; may it be fighting a war of one’s nation or of one’s within oneself. But what is a striking point of war’s definition is that it shapes. It shapes in the sense that even as a nation or as mere individuals, just being in such a condition makes one think, wonder, and in so doing make realizations and create new perceptions not only for one’s society but also for one’s self, one’s disposition in life especially that battle/war is for a reason.
