In America, most politicians and government workers try to glorify how great it is that every man or woman in America has the right to vote. I agree to the utmost on this subject, but the funny thing about this is, that millions of Americans who meet the criteria to vote, don’t. I personally think this is ridiculous, and am fed up with all of the hypocrites. According to the constitution of the United States of America, all men are granted the right to vote as long as you meet a few standards. So why don’t people vote? Lazy, bored, just not interested, these could be the reasons. Recently MTV has launched an ad campaign focusing solely on getting teens and other young people to vote. The campaign goes by the name “Choose or lose.” You can either choose who you think should run our country for the next four years, or miss out and “lose” in the sense that the right person might not have been chosen.
