Fashion and its abuse in Pakistan
Fashion. A word oft repeated, but seldom has any man stopped and pondered on its true meaning and its blatant abuse in today’s times. Let me start my dialogue by defining fashion in layman terms. Fashion, according to me, originates by the age old desire of both sexes to look beautiful, charming and attractive. ... Fashion, of course, is most popular amongst the fairer sex, and it is much jested that a woman wears out a new fashion quicker than a chameleon changes its color. ... In another aspect, it is men who desire to see women in beautiful attires and made-up, and women who are in “vogue” or in “fashion”.
