Writing for School vs Writing for Fun
Taking into account my most memorable writing experiences, I believe that personal writing and the writing that I do for class are disparate activities. It wouldn’t be an easy task to find individuals who choose to lay down in bed at night and write about “what writing experiences of the past have had the greatest affect on you? ... Although I have better things to do with my night then grumble about my day at work or school in a diary, I do choose to take quiet time out and write about the positive things in life. ... In this respect, it seems to me that writing in class and writing for fun or personal reasons are quite dissimilar. However, one needs to first learn the skills to write before he or she can simply sit down and be able to effectively write for fun.
