Gas Law
Gas Law - Stoichiometry Lab Bonnie Laurich Purpose: By adding two different chemicals together you come out with a product. At times that process calls for converting as well as predicting. In class, we have learned that when two chemicals are added to one another you can predict their products. Today, in our lab, we mixed sodium bicarbonate and acetic acid to produce sodium acetate, water, and carbon dioxide. The amount set for how much acetic acid and the amount of sodium bicarbonate is known, but the product of the amount of sodium acetate must be predicted. Our product must be converted to Liters, a procedure which will also be evident in this lab.
