Huckleberry Finn
There have been many cases to where certain books would be reviewed by library committees and/or school administration committees. The reason for reviewing the book, is that there would have to be multiple complaints about the nature of the book. To me banning a book is not necessary. Not everyone will like the same books. Not everyone will find the same books offensive either. What’s the point of banning a book in one city? To me banning a book would only be effective if it was a nationwide decision. Don’t get me wrong, I think censorship in some cases is needed. Young children shouldn’t be able to read or look at whatever they desire; however with teenagers and adults it is different. It will not corrupt their thinking because by now they should have already developed their own morals and standards. Adults also can decide between right and wrong.
