There eys are watching god
There Eyes Were Watching God is an emotional novel, created by one of the most respected African-American Authors in America. Throughout the Novel, Janie, the main character, quests through three marriages in a search for true love. The marriages take a setting in Eatonville, where she was married to Jody, and in the Muck, where she was wed to Tea Cake. The marriages in Eatonville and The Muck completely distinguish and contrast each other in a way where it would bring about a resolution to finding true love throughout her lifetime. Eatonville is a simple yet normal town to settle in. In this town, Jody, Janies Husband, actually becomes mayor. In Eatonville, Janie works in the town store everyday in Eatonville. The store was an enjoyable place to visualize and to think about. Everybody was always having a good time telling secrets and memories around to the others. Working in the store became a daily practice for Janie. It was too enjoyable for her. Janie lives in a big two-story home. It is white. The other houses in the Neighborhood are a fair bit smaller. This house seemed a bit more wealthier than the rest. Notwithstanding the actuality that Janie is leading a more prosperous and luxurious Lifestyle, she tends to show no interest in the love she once had for Jody. This is not what Janie looked for in the marriage. She wanted a more unperturbed advance to Life.
