Who’s to Blame? In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo and Juliet feel what they believe is true love the moment they lay their eyes on each other. From there, they sneak behind their family and friends’ backs and make an attempt to keep their true love secret. Unfortunately, death was the only one that could show the quarrelsome houses that Romeo and Juliet wanted to be together. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet could be blamed on two factors: Romeo and both the lovers’ families. The Montague’s and the Capulet’s could be compared to the modern day cat and dog fight. They did not get along, at all. “What, drawn and talk of peace?
